Sign up soon for our annual Gingerbread House Workshop! Saturday, December 15th, 1:30 pm. Decorate your own ‘sweet’ house for the holidays. We provide the festive candy for shingles, bricks, shrubbery, you provide the imagination. For all ages. The cost is $10/member child, $12/non-member child, and includes up to two adult ‘helpers.’ Museum admission not included. Space is limited, call today.

Join us for very hands-on early science activities. Plants, animals, rocks, water, air, metal, everything in Nature is full of amazing discoveries. These special workshops are designed just right for the pre-school age child. We’ll use magnifiers, tweezers and even microscopes; practice sorting , comparing and classifying. A $1 materials fee will collected for each child, recommended for ages 3 and up.

“Travel around the world without leaving Bangor. Join us for a Didgeridoo Concert, “Your Daily Bread” World Cafe with samples of breads and tasty spreads form around the world. This is a series of workshops for children in grades 5-8 (ages 10-14) interested in paleontology, biology, or geology. The cost for the 3 session series is $40 for members, $45 for non-members. Price includes MDM general admission and a snack.
