United Cerebral Palsy is once again holding Pumpkins in the Park, on Saturday, October 25, from 3:30-7 pm at the Bangor Civic Center.

6th annual community Halloween Party Featuring hundreds of jack-o-lanterns, bounce houses, face painting, hayrides, clowns, balloon-tying, and trick-or-treating.

Admission is $2, and kids under 3 are free!

The new Kindermusik schedule is out:

The Milk & Cookies series is for kids aged 1.5 – 3 years old.  The cost is$105 for tuition, and $53 for materials. There are two times and locations to choose from.

Tuesday, 9:30-10:15 at the Woodlands, in Brewer

or

Fridays, 10:15-11 am at Sunbury Village in Bangor.

With the theme “Rise Up Reading,” this year’s celebration (Nov. 12-18) once again encourages young people and their caregivers to discover new authors, new stories & new ideas. You are invitid to a Book Week party which takes place on Wednesday, November 14 at 4pm. Four children’s authors will be celebrated with skits, theatre, games & snacks. There will also be a Book Week Scavenger Hunt, with a week to finish. All correctly completed entires will go into a drawing for a gift certificate to the Briar Patch.”

A local Kindermusik instructor is holding a Sign and Sing class for babies and toddlers, age 6months-3years.  Classes are held at The Woodlands Assisted Living Facility, in Brewer on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:15.  For tuition and materials, a half-session is $72, ; a full session is $138.  Registration is required.
